  • Content & Communications Officer - Professional Services

    We are seeking to appoint a Content and Communications Officer to join our ambitious Marketing and Admissions department in a thriving Foundation.

    The postholder will source and create a range of content across the five schools of the Foundation and the Foundation’s other activities for sharing across a range of owned and earned channels to better promote the activity of the Foundation.

    The successful candidate will be creative in the use of digital channels as effective conduits for quality and engaging content, generating great content and using a range of channels to reach the widest possible audiences including, but not limited to, prospective parents, current parents and the local community across Warwickshire.

  • Catering Assistants (Professional Services)

    We are seeking to appoint a number of Catering Assistants to support our Foundation Catering Department, providing high quality food for the core pupil dining service. We have shift patterns available Monday to Saturday and timings will be discussed further at interview.

  • Casual Sports Coaches

    Warwick Schools Foundation are looking to appoint Casual Sports Coaches from a variety of backgrounds to help a busy and thriving department with up-and-coming sport camps and activities!

    Duties of the role include: 

    • To plan, set up and deliver sport specific classroom based and physical sessions based on the chosen sport of the camp that meet the camps age criteria and needs (dependent on qualifications) and to undertake all administrative tasks associated with the position, including Camp registers. 
    • Coaches to provide supervision and direction to Sport Camp Assistants & participants. 
    • Sport Camp Assistants to aid coaches with session and activity needs. 

    Hours of Work: Casual – Zero Hour contract. Typical working hours are 8:30am – 3.30pm with subject to camp needs. Camps will be during school holidays

    Pay Banding: Point 33 – £19.19 per hour + holiday pay (£22.42 total)

  • Boarders Catering Assistant (Professional Services)

    We are seeking to appoint a Boarders Catering Assistant to help a busy and thriving Catering Department to ensure an exceptional high standard of food is delivered for Boarders dining.

    The duties include:

    • To assist with the preparation and service of all meals and refreshments as determined by the Head Chef and Front of House Manager
    • To assist with the preparation of the dining rooms and kitchen ready for service.
    • To ensure the safe service of all meals and drinks.
    • To comply with Statutory Regulations pertaining to the safe and hygienic operation of the kitchen as directed by the Head Chef or Front of House Manager, including the maintenance of records.

    Hours of Work: 12:00pm – 08:00pm (37.5 hours) Monday to Friday, 36 weeks per year.

  • Kitchen Porter (Professional Services)

    We are seeking to appoint two Kitchen Porters across our Foundation to support the Head Chef with the daily provision of meals and refreshments for the pupils and staff at both Warwick School and Warwick Preparatory School.

    This will involve assisting in the preparation and service of all meals and refreshments, ensuring the kitchen and dining rooms are cleaned and maintained to a high standard both during and after service, and correctly storing, labelling, and rotating food items. The successful applicant will have previous experience working in a busy catering environment and an appreciation of cleanliness and hygiene standards.

    The working hours are:

    • Warwick Prep School: 37.5 hours per week, 07:30am – 3:30pm (Monday – Friday)
    • Warwick School: 37.5 hours per week, work pattern to be confirmed (Monday – Friday)

    Salary: £21,472 per annum (Fixed Point 11 of the Foundation’s Support Pay scales).

  • Swimming Teachers (Level 1 and 2) - weekends only (Sports Centre)

    We are seeking to appoint part-time Swimming Teachers for our outstanding Swim School.

    The ideal candidate will have ASA or STA level one or above, the Teacher Rescue Award and at least 6 months' experience coaching swimming to children; a Lifeguard or First Aid at Work qualification would be advantageous.  Excellent communication skills are a must, as is the ability to quickly build rapport with children and parents.

    We are open on Saturdays between 8am - 2.30pm and Sundays from 8.30am - 1.30pm, all year round. Flexible working patterns within these times are available. 

    Hourly rate: These rates include the cost of living pay increase applicable from September 2023.

    • Level 1: Support Staff Point 22 – £16.13 per hour including holiday pay (£13.79 per hour excluding holiday pay)
    • Level 2: Support Staff Point 30 – £20.59 per hour including holiday pay (£17.60 per hour excluding holiday pay)

  • Holiday Action Assistant Leaders & Group Leaders (Professional Services)

    We are looking for casual holiday-time staff to come and help us to deliver our hugely successful Holiday Action programme.

    Experience of teaching, sports coaching or working in a school environment is preferable, but not essential. Above all, we are looking for candidates with enthusiasm, motivation and an ability to engage and communicate effectively with children.

    Our holiday programmes run during every school holiday all year around for children aged 4 to 14 years. Our typical working hours are 9.00am – 4.30pm with some early/late shifts also available on select days, but all shifts at 7.5 hours. However, the Early Years Manager role has a working pattern of 8:00am - 4:45pm, with a 1 hour unpaid break. 

    Please note - applicants will not be required to work during every school holiday – but are welcome to work in whichever holiday periods they have available. All applications will be considered.

    Hourly rate: These rates include the cost of living pay increase applicable from September 2023.

    • Non-qualified Staff Members - Point 11 (£11.16 per hour, plus £1.90 holiday pay).
    • Level 1 Early Years Assistant - Point 13 (£11.47 per hour, plus £1.95 holiday pay).
    • Level 2 (or above) Early Years Assistant - Point 17 (£12.18 per hour, plus £2.07 holiday pay).
    • Level 2 (or above) Early Years Deputy - Point 21 (£13.40 per hour, plus £2.27 holiday pay).
    • Level 3 (or above) Early Years Manager - Point 29 (£17.11 per hour, plus £2.91 holiday pay).
    • Qualified Sports Coach - Point 21 (£13.40 per hour, plus £2.27 holiday pay).
    • Qualified Teacher - Point 21 (£13.40 per hour, plus £2.27 holiday pay).
