Pupils at King's High School have been putting their French skills to good use.
Year 7 French students have been making cartoon strip dialogues through a range of media – on paper, with comic creator websites and Scratch - learning how to give opinions on their school subjects. Years 8 and 9 are describing holidays in the past and future, reminiscing about past holidays and dreaming about future ones. Year 13 French students have been studying authentic news articles about the Coronavirus pandemic, comparing life under the lockdown in France and the UK. They have also sent messages of support to isolated elderly people in France using the website 1lettre1sourire.org (1letter1smile).
